Job Duties:
Caring for honey bee colonies
Moving bees into and out of pollination fields
Assisting technicians as required to ensure bee health is optimal
Honey harvesting and extraction
Monitoring and controlling bee health as per technician instructions
Repairing and maintaining bee equipment as required
Cleaning of extraction plant to CFIA standards
Load and unload materials as required
Report any issues to the technicians when identified

Requirements:
Job Requirements:
Driver's license is required to have or obtain
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Work under pressure in all weather conditions
Physically demanding and be able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly
Complete repetitive tasks
Attention to detail
Handling heavy loads
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Automated honey extractor experience is an asset
Knowledge of bee biology is an asset
