As part of our commitment to academic excellence, we are seeking passionate and experienced AP Course Teachers/Tutors in Calculus AB & BC and Statistics.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Tailor lesson plans to meet individual student needs, ensuring mastery of subject content and preparation for AP exams.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to refine curriculum materials and teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and needs.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and observations to provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a love for learning by encouraging student participation and collaboration.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
- Current college students with strong academic performance in relevant AP subjects are welcome to apply.
Experiences:
- Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience in AP subjects.
- Proven success in preparing students for AP exams with excellent results.
Skills:
- Strong command of English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin or Korean is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to students and parents.
- Ability to develop and design teaching material and curriculums.
- Ability to utilize computerized tools for lesson planning and student assessment.
- Passion for educating young minds and a commitment to student success.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
