Danforth Veterinary Clinic is looking for an Animal Care Attendant to join our team!
The position is a stable full-time shift from 10:00am-6:00pm Monday-Thursday, and 9:00am-5:00pm on Fridays. No weekends or late nights required. Benefits include discounted pet services and products and paid lunch hour.
Responsibilities include:
· Assisting Veterinarians and technicians with restraint and handling for procedures, such as blood collection, vaccines, nail trims, etc.
· Preparing patients for surgeries and procedures, and carefully monitoring them during recovery
· Caring for hospitalized patients, while providing proper feeding, medicating, cleaning/sanitization, and documenting patient status
· Unpacking inventory orders and keeping clinic supplies stocked
· General cleaning and organization of the clinic interior and exterior.

· Work efficiently both independently and in a team setting
· Able to work in a high-paced environment and manage time well
· Able to handle and care for animals in a calm and compassionate manner
· Enthusiasm to learn new skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.50 per hour
