We are seeking another passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our furry clients while providing exceptional customer service to their owners. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Assist in managing appointments and scheduling for grooming services as needed.
- Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best care for our clients.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with pet owners.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manage active animals during grooming sessions.
- Knowledge of various dog and cat breeds, as well as their specific grooming needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
