Rural Municipality of Woodlands, Manitoba
Full time

Prairie Roots Co-op is hiring an Agro Division Manager on a permanent basis, serving the Marquette, Starbuck and Elm Creek, MB area.

Are you a people savvy leader in Agriculture looking to lead great teams, operations, and sales? Apply today for the opportunity to oversee our Prairie Roots Agro locations and contribute to the unmatched service we provide to our Co-op member owners and customers.

Prairie Roots Co-op is a full-service ag input retail with locations in Marquette, Starbuck, and Elm Creek. We supply seed, fertilizer, crop protection, energy, and hardware products to our customers.

What you’ll do:

As the Agro Division Manager, you will be accountable for the strategic planning and day-to-day execution of agricultural operations. You’ll provide strong leadership, direction, and oversight to ensure that all Ag Centre operations, programs, and policies are aligned with organizational goals and consistently meet or exceed budgeted targets.

  • Lead a high-performing team across sites by overseeing recruitment, setting performance goals, providing coaching and feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for growth or improvement.
  • Ensure all locations operate in compliance with safety protocols, maintenance standards, and asset protection policies, with a focus on the proper handling and storage of inventory and equipment.
