Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate weight measurements and data entry while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate and maintain scale equipment to ensure accurate weight measurements.
- Perform data entry tasks, including recording weights and maintaining accurate logs.
- Provide clerical support, including filing documents and managing records.
- Assist customers with inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer support and satisfaction.
- Manage front desk operations, including answering multi-line phone systems and handling correspondence.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks for various administrative tasks.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness before filing or distribution.
- Maintain an organized workspace to facilitate efficient operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred, with a focus on clerical duties and customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus but not required.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks.
- Experience in medical or dental office settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
