Summary
We are seeking an Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join our team at Arkto Campers. This role is essential in supporting our financial tracking, operations team, and management.
Job Description:
Accounting
· Receiving vendor invoices via email and filing, organizing and processing as needed.
· Entering received invoices into web-based inventory system or into QuickBooks (online).
· Maintain AP schedule to ensure outstanding invoices are paid accordingly.
· Maintain AR schedule to ensure that customer payments are received in a timely fashion.
· Reconciling AP/AR
· Work in various Excel spreadsheets, as needed, to assist owners in financial tracking.
Procurement / Inventory
· Receiving inventory into the web-based inventory management system.
· Assisting the Owners in ensuring that inventory ordering is up to date.
· Communicating with vendors as needed.
· Performing inventory checks and coordinating with production staff on materials needed.
· Coordinate small shipments (box, label, and schedule pickups by couriers)
Administrative
· Communicating with all forms of stakeholders. This could include customers, potential customers, vendors, and staff via phone, email, or in person.
· Sending various documents to customers, such as quotes, purchase agreements, invoices, bills of sale, and receipts.
· Assisting the Owners with scheduling needs.
· Ensuring the proper storage and transfer of electronic documents (email, SharePoint, cloud storage folders).
· Handling various reporting functions as needed.
· Assisting with basic marketing and promotional tasks.
Requirements
- 3 years experience in an accounting and/or administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically Excel).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with varying tasks.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal instruction.
- A positive attitude and desire to work with others to solve problems

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
