We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Timberlands division. Your responsibilities will span administrative support, compliance coordination, finance assistance, and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Manage daily email correspondence, WCB reports, janitorial services contract, office supplies, and meeting arrangements.
- Prepare and maintain contracts, monitor compliance (EBIX), and manage documentation.
- Support LIMS operations: resolve exceptions, set up contracts/sources, and assist with pay summaries.
- Perform TM9 scale checks, maintain inventory, and oversee scale house facilities.
- Conduct safety inspections, lead driver orientations, and assist with seasonal programs like Winter Weight.
- Support finance activities including invoicing, tax notice tracking, WCB audits, and expense reporting.
- 2+ years of administrative experience, ideally in forestry, industrial, or related sectors.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with LIMS and EBIX an asset.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $65,800 - $92,100 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.
