Administration Assistant, Card Payments
In this position as an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the Card Payments department and will perform a variety of administrative duties related to the debit Mastercard and BIN sponsored Mastercard programs.
In summary, the Administration Assistant, Card Payments will:
- Develop and understanding of dual and single message Mastercard: authorization, clearing and settlement.
- Reconciliation of Mastercard GL’s, transactions, and fees, and effect daily settlement to Mastercard.
- Review and process Mastercard invoices and fees.
- Review and report on revenue and fees for BIN sponsored clients and post on monthly basis.
- Review and submit Mastercard Quarterly Reporting.
- Work collaboratively with the Fraud team to review, submit, and post member chargeback claims.
- Promptly address member concerns with debit Mastercard acceptance or usage issues.
- Assist the team with processing incoming and outgoing wires, automated fund transfers, special member bill payment requests, provincial and Canada Revenue Agency payments, stop payments for personal and commercial members.
- Process and reconcile clearing of cheques and preauthorized debits and credits.
- Reconciliation of electronic payment products.
- Other duties as assigned.
The “must-have” skills and qualifications that we’re looking for are:
- Post-secondary education in Office Administration or relevant field of study.
- A minimum of one year of related work experience is preferred.
- Administrative or reconciliation experience is preferred.
- Must work with a high level of accuracy while multi-tasking to deliver excellent member service.
- Must be be self-motivated and display excellent organization skills.
- The ability to work efficiently and independently while complying with detailed procedures is critical.
- Must exhibit excellent analytical skills, be able to work under pressure, adhere to strict deadlines and exercise initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Competency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is required.
