Keltic is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships while ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for numbers to play a key role in our financial operations. As an AR specialist, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures. You’ll also work closely with our sales team to manage end-of-day reconciliations and handle cash receipts for both general sales and contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- End of day sales reconciliations to assure bank balancing.
- Track payments received each day.
- Calling for past due accounts.
- Apply cheque and EFT payments to customer account.
- Bank deposits and petty cash management.
- Post daily sales to general ledger.
- Daily filing.
- Customer service related to accounts.
- End of day reports and assisting sales staff when required.
- Answer overflow phone calls.
- Coverage for other admin roles.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Credit account application management and providing credit references for customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Very comfortable using multiple accounting and other computer software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem solving skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
