Team | Position
Accounting Team
Accounting Assistant: Full-Time, Intermediate-Level
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Manage and reconcile various accounts including A/P, A/R, and payroll
- Record journal entries, prepare trial balances, and manage general ledgers
- File GST/HST returns and apply for refunds
- Process payroll and issue T4s using QuickBooks Payroll
- Prepare and file corporate T2 tax returns
- Manage payments for utilities, vendors, and government remittances (CPP, EI, WSIB, etc.)
- Assist in preparing monthly and year-end financial statements and management reports
- Support client bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and audit preparation
- Communicate with clients and government agencies; manage documentation and deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4-year university)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service mindset
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and Korean
- Major in accounting or related field
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (including 1-hour lunch break)
- Weekends and public holidays off
- Salary and compensation to be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on internal company policies
