Communication and Marketing Assistant

ProVision Business Advisors is a boutique business advisory firm headquartered in Calgary, Alberta. We work in Western Canada, serving individuals looking to scale up, buy and/or sell a business. We are looking for marketing assistance with the following.

This is an entry-level virtual (bring your own device) position ideal for internship purposes that could turn into an on-going role within our company. Students in marketing, communications and related programs are encouraged to apply.

Content management which includes:

  • Sharing content and providing engagement on social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube to generate traffic for strategy calls, webinars and program inquiries.
  • Copy writing, editing and formatting lead magnets such as e-books, checklists, templates as well as newsletters, webinar presentations, articles published on our website (blog), LinkedIn and our newsletter.

Client Management which includes:

  • Creating and managing the customer journey (from awareness to conversion)
  • Set up our CMS and our membership site
  • Client support and assistance to our advisors
  • Client follow-up communication
  • Event support with set up, promotion, logistics and communication

Qualifications:

  • Some understanding of content management and social media platforms
  • Experience with these applications would be valuable (but will consider someone willing to learn them): LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Facebook, Wordpress Website, ClickUp, Acuity, Canva, Office 365, Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox, Simplero (marketing & course hosting platform)
  • Some post-secondary education preferred
  • Understanding of marketing concepts / processes, human behaviour, the psychology of consumers, and persuasion

Part time, flexible position 10 - 15 hours/week.
