We are seeking an experienced and passionate 3D Generalist Instructor to join our faculty. In this role, you will teach and mentor students in the art and technology of creating high-quality 3D assets—from concept through to final rendering. Your expertise will help prepare the next generation of artists for careers in film, games, and digital media.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging lectures, demonstrations, and workshops on 3D production techniques.
- Teach asset creation, lighting, scene assembly, optimization, and basic compositing workflows.
- Provide feedback on student projects, ensuring they meet professional quality standards.
- Guide students in using industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, Mari, and SpeedTree.
- Share best practices for production pipelines, technical requirements, and creative workflows.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
- Mentor students on portfolio development and career preparation.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4+ years of professional experience as a 3D Generalist (Film or game experience is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Maya; experience with ZBrush, Mari, and SpeedTree highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of 3D lighting, layout, animation, and rendering.
- Familiarity with 3D Equalizer for tracking is an asset.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred (formal teaching certification not required).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining professional expectations.

Pay: $38,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
