Wind Turbine Mechanical Technicians (Tech 2 & Tech 3)

Frontier Blade Solutions Inc. is hiring Mechanical Technicians (Tech 2 & Tech 3) to support our growing service division. We’re looking for self-sufficient, safety-minded professionals with strong mechanical backgrounds in wind turbine maintenance.
Position Details:
· Travel-Based Role: Work across multiple wind farm locations in Canada
· Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week + Paid Overtime
· Per Diem + $2,000 Gear/Spending Allowance
· Season-End Bonus for returning staff and based on company performance
Responsibilities:
· Perform turbine maintenance and component replacements
· Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
· Conduct detailed tower inspections
· Replace major and minor components
· Complete job-specific documentation and checklists
· Work as part of a small team in remote field environments
Preferred Experience:
· Experience working on GE, Siemens, or Vestas turbines
· Strong mechanical aptitude with tools and component systems
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair various tower-level systems
· Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
· Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
· Certifications in GWO, Working at Heights, and First Aid (preferred)
Qualifications:
· Deep knowledge of turbine operations and systems
· GWO certifications (preferred): Working at Heights, BTT, Rescue
· Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
· Valid Driver’s License and clean abstract
· Excellent documentation and communication skills
· Prior team leadership experience (for Team Lead applicants)
