A day in the life…
- Checking the current state of the vehicle, adjust, balance and align steering and suspension which allows for optimum road handling.
- Required to drive vehicles onto the lift, properly secure vehicle to lift/alignment machine to ensure safe operation, remove tires by properly dismounting in order to repair alignment issues. Remount wheels back on vehicle without any damage and test-drive vehicles to ensure that the problems have been fixed.
- Required to report any faulty parts or improper wear to supervisor so that they may inform the customer of your appraisal.
- Ensuring the workshop and all working, service bay areas and vehicles are kept clean, clutter free and tidy at all times.
- Other duties as assigned and may be amended from time to time to meet company objectives.
- Ensuring safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors.
What You Bring To CAG…
- Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Must be competent with tools required for repair of all assigned jobs and able to operate lifting devices.
- Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and material properly.
- Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time.
What We Require From You…
- Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work on his/her feet for extended periods of time with hands above the head.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and skillset in car maintenance is an asset.
- Certificate of Conduct and Drivers Abstract required.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
