We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Well Technician to join our team and support our growing service operations.
Job Overview:
As a Well Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of well systems in both residential and commercial environments. You’ll work independently and alongside a team to ensure water systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in accordance with all safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues with water well systems and components (e.g., pumps, tanks, pressure switches, etc)
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance
- Replace or upgrade system components as needed
- Conduct well efficiency tests and analyze results
- Ensure proper system operation in accordance with applicable codes and guidelines
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members about system status and any required work
Qualifications:
- Prior experience servicing water wells (residential or commercial) is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of well pumps, tanks, and water treatment systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand/power tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice to Have:
- Well Technician Certification or related trade license
- Experience with electrical controls and water treatment systems
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and groundwater regulations
