Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to animals. Your expertise in laboratory procedures and animal care will be crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist with post-operative care.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive health measures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic's facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of a Veterinary Technician program or equivalent education.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (preferred).
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
