Job description

Trout Lake Animal Hospital has an opening for a full-time veterinarian to join our amazing team of experienced and dedicated individuals to care for both owned and shelter animals. We are looking for a compassionate veterinarian with exceptional communication skills and a positive and upbeat attitude. In this position you'll use your surgical and medical knowledge to manage a diverse caseload, as well as bring a high level of empathy and humility to positively impact the lives of people and animals in British Columbia.

We are a full service, progressive hospital with a focus on providing high quality, Fear Free patient and client care. We have amazing clients who are committed to staying on top of their pet’s health! We have fully in-house AnTech and IDEXX lab, digital radiography (including dental!), and are fully paperless using Cornerstone.

Candidates should have at least two years of full-time experience in small animal medicine. Must be confident with routine soft tissue surgery, dentistry, client communication, and should be comfortable working independently as well as with other veterinarians and members of the team. Excellent medical record keeping and client communication skills are a must. EzyVet proficiency would be an asset, but training can be provided. We’re currently open 7 days.

As a member of the TLAH team, your passion for medicine as well as your compassion for animals and people is matched with a commitment to your professional growth.
