Utility Operator II and Heavy Equipment Operator Overview
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is currently inviting applications for the combined full-time position of Utility Operator II and Heavy Equipment Operator to perform directed and undirected manual and machine-assisted work necessary to construct and maintain wastewater and potable water systems owned and operated by the SCRD. Work is performed to ensure that service delivery meets the expectations of internal and external customers, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory and license requirements. The Utility Operator II and Heavy Equipment Operator is a bargaining unit position, working 37.5 hours per week. The appropriate hourly rate will be received for the work as assigned:
Utility Operator II $41.91 per hour
Heavy Equipment Operator $47.13 per hour
