Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of total rewards strategies that align with business goals and enhance employee experience.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation and benefits practices.
- Independently partners with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide guidance on job evaluations, salary recommendations, and incentive programs.
- Assist in the design and administration of annual compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and equity programs, system set up and communication/training.
- Support or manage vendor relationships and support the administration of group benefits, wellness initiatives, and retirement programs.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials and training to enhance employee understanding of total rewards offerings.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the Total Rewards function, leading assigned programs/projects.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams to drive results.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Canadian compensation and benefits regulations and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation tools (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) is preferred.

About the work environment:
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.
