Tire Technician Job Description
Overview
As a Tire Technician you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tires on a variety of vehicles. You'll work hands-on to ensure the safety and performance of our customers' tires while delivering top quality service
Duties
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on cars, trucks, and light-duty vehicles
- Inspect tires for signs of wear, damage, or underperformance.
- Use hoists, tire changers, wheel balancers, and other shop equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and explaining services performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Uphold standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Previous experience as a tire technician is an asset but nor required- training provided.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in the automotive industry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and Safety.
- Valid driver's license
