Salary Range
$53,738 to $60,006 annually. Salary scale and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
The Opportunity
You will provide technical and instructional support to the Stagecraft Program and users of the Performing Arts Facilities. You also provide exceptional client-centred service on a consistent basis to all stakeholder groups.

WHAT IT TAKES
- Good working knowledge of English (written and verbal).
- Completed a Degree program in Technical Theatre at a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent with three years related work experience in a wide variety of technical theatre related areas or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Experience and ability to work with both Lighting and Sound is a requirement
- Good working knowledge of safety measures used in a workshop/performance setting.
- Physically capable of the manual labour related to constructing and maintaining sets.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with faculty, staff, students and community users and maintains a high degree of confidentiality.

Additional Information
This regular, full-time (35 hours per week) 10-month repeating term position is available starting September 1, 2025. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department’s need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at the Coquitlam campus. Douglas College (DC) is committed to supporting a healthy work/life balance for employees. A modified/flexible schedule and/or hybrid work from home arrangement may be considered.
