We are currently recruiting for a live in weekend caregiver for our male employer with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2 to assist with all activities of daily living.
The ideal candidate will be caring, attentive and can take direction well.
Location:
- Burnaby, BC
Shifts & Hours of Work:
- Temporary coverage
- Tuesday June 17th - Saturday June 21st
- 24 hr. shifts, start time 7:00am
Compensation:
- $300 per day
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Personal care such as showering, dressing assistance, toileting assistance, and repositioning
- Tube feeding and bi-pap support (putting on the mask, turning on, ect)
- Meal preparation and eating assistance
- Medication administration
- Light housekeeping duties: taking out garbage, laundry, dusting and cleaning
- Overnight: Pull out couch with double mattress
- Interventions approximately 2 to 4 times per night
- Bi-pap and repositioning
