It requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, including planning, execution and stakeholder communication. They ensure that Destination Canada's enterprise systems are delivered on time, within scope and budget, support operational excellence and aligned with organizational priorities.

Key accountabilities

  • Leads planning and delivery of enterprise system rollouts (e.g., Asana, CRM, ERP), including the preparation of detailed business cases to support strategic investment decisions and full implementation planning.
  • Develops, coordinates, and writes comprehensive Requests for Proposals (RFPs), project briefs and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Applies business analysis techniques to elicit, define, and document requirements from diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Supports vendor evaluation and technology license renewals across enterprise platforms, coordinating with internal teams and procurement.
  • Creates and maintains detailed project plans, briefing notes, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments using Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Facilitates project governance meetings, steering committee updates, and project retrospectives; prepares senior management reports and presentations.
  • Ensures successful user adoption of new systems through rollout planning, training coordination, and support.
  • Identifies interdependencies across systems and teams; manages escalation paths and mitigation strategies for project risks and issues.
  • Supports continuous improvement by documenting lessons learned, contributing to internal standards, and recommending process enhancements.
  • Aligns enterprise technology initiatives with risk management frameworks and IT roadmap, ensuing compliance with public-sector and audit requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

What you need

  • Graduation from a recognized university with a degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or Computer Sciences, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Formal project management certification (Project Management Professional, PRINCE2, or equivalent) with demonstrated expertise in applying project management frameworks and methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile or Scrum.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in project management and business analysis within technology or enterprise systems domains.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and delivering complex technology initiatives, with a solid grasp of enterprise system lifecycles, cloud platforms and modern SaaS platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead the evaluation and implementation of enterprise cloud solutions and systems (e.g. Office 365, Sharepoint, Asana or equivalent SaaS platforms).
  • Successfully led a recent rollout of a CRM or ERP system across an enterprise environment, demonstrating the ability to manage end-to-end delivery, change management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience writing and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), vendor evaluations, and managing contract negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration and cybersecurity principles, including API-based data flows, authentication protocols, and compliance with data protection standards.
  • Knowledge of business analysis frameworks and process mapping tools to assess business needs and translate them into clear, actionable technical and functional requirements.
  • Ability to work independently in a highly matrix-managed, extremely busy, varied and diverse environment with changing priorities.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and briefings to senior leadership.
  • Familiarity with procurement practices in the public sector.

It would be great if you also had

  • Certification or formal training in Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum Master, SAFe).
  • Experience delivering projects using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
