We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Taxi Driver to join Overseas Taxi. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while providing an exceptional travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with their needs during the ride.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide change as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
- Keep the taxi clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Manage time effectively to accommodate multiple pickups and drop-offs throughout the shift.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch regarding passenger pickups, drop-offs, and any changes in route.
Requirements
- Valid class 4 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
