TAFC Academy Mission:
At the TAFC Academy, we aim to inspire and foster a life-long love of the sport in a safe, inclusive, and instructional environment. Our coaches will instill principles of discipline, fair play, leadership, responsibility, critical thinking, respect, self-confidence, empathy, hard work, determination, and belonging. A development pathway is available for all players to progress through the age groups, learning developmentally appropriate principles at each stage.

Program Details:*
- Program: Introductory Developmental Program for TAFC Academy Aurora Branch.
- Start Date: January 18th, 2025.
- End Date: April 5th, 2025.
- Schedule: Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
- Location: Wellington Public School (125 Wellington St W, Aurora, ON L4G 2P3)

Specific Responsibilities:*
- Lead, supervise, and ensure the safety of all participants during soccer sessions.
- Provide age-appropriate coaching tailored to skill levels and developmental needs.
- Teach fundamental soccer skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, positioning, and teamwork.
- Foster sportsmanship, discipline, and a love for soccer among players.
- Create and implement structured lesson plans for the program.
- Provide feedback and encouragement to help players improve and build confidence.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches to ensure smooth session delivery.
- Track players' progress and communicate updates to leadership as required.
- Maintain strong relationships with program participants, parents, and school administration.
- Enforce safety rules and ensure proper use of soccer equipment.
- Participate in staff meetings and required training.

Qualifications:*
- Experience coaching or working with children aged 6-12.
- Soccer coaching certification (e.g., NCCP, OSA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Background in soccer training, coaching, or playing.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Standard First Aid and CPR C certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes.
- Bilingual - English/French is an asset.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications. TAC Sports welcomes applications from people with disabilities and will provide accommodation upon request as required by law.
