Summer Break Camp Information:*
Our Summer Break Camps run from the end of June to the end of August, with locations across the GTA (Toronto, North York, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Mississauga, East York, Scarborough, Pickering, Whitby, Aurora, and more).

Beginner Biking Instructors* will work with campers aged 3.5 - 6 to learn the fundamentals of riding a bike alone. Our goal is to progress each campers skill and development to a point they are able to ride independently without training wheels, and understand the basics and rules of road and riding safety.

Specific Responsibilities:*
- Lead students through activities that will promote the growth of their physical, mental, and social development
- Plan, develop, and implement all lesson plans.
- Teaching students using a variety of different techniques including discussions, visual demonstrations, guided discovery, and where possible physical manipulation.
- Nurture and develop all athlete's potential skills and abilities
- Evaluate student's progress and discuss results with students, parents, and the onsite coordinator
- Analyze athlete performance and modify existing plans for maximum development
- Participate in staff meetings and required training
- Monitor the program, sports facility, and materials to ensure safety and provide first aid assistance when required.
- Additional duties as prescribed
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching experience and/or childcare experience are preferred.
- Ability to lead the recreational rides and hold clinics for participants
- Assist with some event planning, course design, and trail & track building
- Background knowledge and experience in Biking or other sports
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First aid and CPR C
- Strong communication skills
