About Us:
WD Swim is a growing swim school in Markham dedicated to providing high-quality aquatic instruction in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. Our mission is to help children and adults develop strong swimming skills and water safety awareness—while having fun in the process!
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring enthusiastic and dependable Swim/Aquatic Instructors to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll deliver fun, engaging, and progress-driven lessons to students of various ages and skill levels. A positive attitude, passion for swimming, and strong communication skills are key!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group swim classes (max. 4 students) in a safe, engaging, and structured format
- Teach skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment for all students
- Ensure the safety of all participants and respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Provide timely feedback and communication to parents, students, and team members
Qualifications:
- Energetic, outgoing, and passionate about aquatics and child development
- Previous swim instruction experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (no sponsorship available)
- Available to work weekday evenings and full weekends

- Weekday evenings
- Weekends availability
- Flexible scheduling – pick up shifts based on your availability
Job Type:
- Part-Time: Under 20 hours per week
- Full-Time: Over 30 hours per week
