Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual recor ds. Ensures adherence to the Company�s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian�s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Acc ountabilities
- Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access; reports violations to the Supervisor, Surveillance
- Mainta ins logs and records
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other s tatutory regulations Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education an d experience an asset
- Minimum 3 years of work experience; experience in security or surveillance an asset
- Food Safety or Responsible Liquor Service Certification Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
Work Environment Considerations
- Regular office environment, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances, some travel may be required
