The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead scheduling, procurement, and logistics operations at our London, Ontario facility.Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure optimal production planning, material availability, and supplier performance. This is an opportunity to shape and optimize the end-to-end supply chain in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead manufacturing scheduling based on production goals and supply constraints.
  • Resolve issues affecting the flow of production and procurement.
  • Analyze customer demand and translate it into production and material plans.
  • Manage and adjust the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Monitor performance through SCADA, ERP, and MES systems.
  • Oversee procurement processes and ensure compliance with negotiated terms.
  • Optimize inventory and raw material management, including FG inventory.
  • Supervise freight and transportation operations.
  • Drive SOP development and team performance improvement.
  • Contribute to strategic development and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Uphold the company’s values and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support factory start-up operations as needed.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in scheduling, logistics, purchasing, or production management in a manufacturing setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in a relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, tools, and systems.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, supplier quality standards, and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage emergencies, and adapt quickly.

Assets

  • Experience in a greenfield or factory start-up environment.
  • Background in managing chemical raw materials in 24/7 operations.
  • Familiarity with e-procurement systems, ERP (APS, MES), and WMS implementation.
