Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Camp Leader to join our team. The Camp Leader will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children during camp activities. This position requires an individual who is enthusiastic about working with children aged 8-11 years old, and has a background in early childhood education or similar, and is committed to fostering a positive learning experience.
Duties
- Plan and implement daily camp activities that promote learning and development.
- Educate campers on various subjects through interactive games, crafts, and outdoor activities.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers during activities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all children, encouraging participation and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive camp experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the camp area and materials.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is preferred.
- A background in early childhood education or tutoring is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to adapt activities to meet the varying needs of campers.
- A genuine passion for educating and inspiring young minds.
