Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Strategic Sourcing Manager on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Regina, Saskatchewan .
We’re looking for a seasoned procurement leader who can drive enterprise-wide sourcing strategies, foster strong stakeholder partnerships, and deliver measurable value through innovative category management. This is an opportunity to play a key role in FCL’s procurement transformation, shaping how we deliver cost optimization, service excellence, and governance across a diverse and complex organization.
What you’ll do:
- This position plays a critical role in driving value through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to support manufacturing and maintenance excellence.
- Lead the execution of enterprise-wide category management strategies, driving cost savings and service improvements through strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance initiatives. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you’ll standardize goods and services, capture business needs, analyze market trends, and apply best practices to optimize category performance.
Collaborate with internal procurement teams and technical stakeholders in Turnaround and Maintenance to align sourcing strategies with operational plans, technical requirements, and timelines.
Support the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Procurement in delivering cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement KPIs.
- Set and track goals for quality, cost, and service within your categories, ensuring performance meets business objectives and annual savings targets. By monitoring KPIs, driving supplier performance, and sharing results with stakeholders, you’ll continuously improve procurement value across FCL .

The Collaborators: You will work closely and collaborate with the Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) business unit during Turnaround and Maintenance periods.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:
- Have 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply management, supplier management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Experience with FCL categories/commodities preferred, particularly in the specific assigned category. May include: Contractors/Complex Services; IT; Transportation and Logistics, Equipment, Capital.
- Experience in contract/contractor management in the following areas would be an asset: selection of service providers; clear understanding of specific contractor dynamics (e.g.: union rules/regulations).
- Certificates in procurement, supply management, inventory management, Lean/Six Sigma, or operational planning would be assets. MBA/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Operations Management is an asset.
