The Store Manager is a full-time position at Borrelli Wines that requires excellent organization, planning, and basic business function skills. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of motivation, friendly personality, and superb communication skills. This position will require constant customer interaction and daily wine-making related labour. This position entails
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Front Desk and Administrative Duties: You will be responsible for performing daily cash-outs, maintaining a balanced till, organizing and constructing wine-making contracts, processing all customer invoices, and managing bottling appointments. Additionally, you will oversee answering phone calls and taking messages, managing accounts receivable/payable, maintaining purchase orders, overseeing and controlling employee tasks and schedules, and managing inventory.
2. Sales and Customer Relations: You will be in charge of maintaining a high level of sales by continually promoting and presenting various products in a professional manner. Building strong customer relationships, understanding customers' wants and needs, and developing and creating effective sales strategies to improve business will be under your purview.
3. Wine-Making Process Management: You will oversee all steps involved in the wine-making process, which includes transitioning grape juice into wine. You will ensure that each stage, from checking airlocks to starting batches, racking, filtering, and mixing various wine additives, is conducted efficiently and effectively.
4. Complete Store Management: You will be in charge of the comprehensive management of the store, ensuring that all operations, from administrative tasks to sales and wine-making processes, are executed to the highest standard.
along with the above responsibilities, you will be incharge of:
- Developing and implement strategies to increase store traffic and meet sales targets
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 2-years office administration / retail operations experience
- A minimum of 2 years of POS & store management experience
- Completed secondary education and have post secondary business administration or engineering education (no students)
- Provide clean drivers abstract, police clearance, proof of identification and employment eligibility
- Able to lift up to 50lbs if required during wine making process
- Excellent customer service skills, communication, and organizational skills
- Able to work in fast pace environment and problem solving ability
- Excellent computer skills
- Able to complete work independently, on time, and error free
- Able to learn different skills to keep up with business demands
- Able to lead team keeping the work environment positive for all co-workers, customers, vendors, etc.
- Wine making experience preferred.
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques and strategies
- Excellent organizational skills to manage store operations efficiently.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of basic math for inventory management and sales reporting

- Cashiering: 2 year (required)
