Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with communication disorders in various settings.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide therapy to improve communication, articulation, fluency, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for continued improvement
Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in case management, particularly in pediatrics
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech therapy
- Previous work experience in hospital or acute care settings is preferred
