Job Description:
We are looking for an attentive and enthusiastic Special Education Assistant to work 1:1 with our child in a K/1 split class, assisting with learning activities, behavioral support, and social interaction within the classroom setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children with learning differences, and possess a compassionate approach.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to the child during school hours
- Assist with adaptive learning activities and classroom routines
- Support social-emotional development and behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and family members to meet the child's individual needs
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- CEA Certificate
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Criminal background check required
- Previous experience working with children with learning differences
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
