Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sorter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting various materials and ensuring they are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position may involve operating heavy equipment and requires physical stamina for heavy lifting.
Responsibilities
- Sort and categorize materials according to specified guidelines.
- Operate forklifts and loaders for the movement of materials as needed.
- Clean and sanitize work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Requirements
- Previous experience in sorting or related roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent oral communication
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
- Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Familiarity with sanitation practices in a work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
