Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, advertising techniques, and e-commerce strategies.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and monitoring social media activity.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics using Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe products.
- Analyze performance metrics using Google Analytics and other reporting tools to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and best practices in social media advertising.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing or social media management.
- Familiarity with advertising on various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Proficiency in using Hootsuite or similar social media management tools.
- Strong graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Knowledge of e-commerce principles and how they relate to social media marketing.
- Excellent research skills to identify trends and insights that can inform strategy.
- Strong written communication skills with an ability to create engaging content tailored for different audiences.
- A passion for staying current with industry developments and emerging technologies.
