Tru-Kare Tank and Meter Service is a Transport Canada pressure vessel inspection facility and a commercial vehicle inspection facility. We are also a B620 Training Facility.
The position is training to be a B620 Pressure Vessel Inspector and is a permanent position.
Possible training for cryogenic vacuum pull and helium leak detection as one of the duties.
Some examples of duties would include repairing valves & pumps, leak testing, assembling plumbing, buffing and cleaning out vessel, hydro testing, visual inspecting.
The most common pressure vessels we work on are 331, 341, 338, 406 spec. (propane, NH3, CO2, Liquid N2, Cryogenic liquids, some fuel)
Must be physically fit, quick learner, have mechanical abilities and supply basic hand & power tools with tool box.
Must be punctual and have good attendance
Vessels often have small manways; as such a small/medium body type is beneficial
This is a great work environment and has lots of room for advancement. Previous experience in the field or related experience comes with higher wage.
