Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Site Supervisor will play a vital role in managing and overseeing all on-site activities for our commercial construction projects. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while upholding quality standards and complying with all relevant regulations.This is a client-facing position that requires close collaboration with franchise owners, trades, subcontractors, building officials, and internal project teams. The Site Supervisor will be a key liaison on-site, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish. This position involves frequent travel and hands-on presence at job sites, depending on project schedules. Typical project durations range from one to four weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations on active construction sites, ensuring compliance with project plans, timelines, and established safety protocols.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and site personnel, offering clear guidance to maintain smooth and efficient workflows.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor construction quality and progress through regular inspections, promptly addressing deviations from plans. Ensure all work aligns with brand standards and meets client expectations.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, site protocols, and company policies to maintain a safe environment for all team members.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including daily logs, work progress updates, and incident reports.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the key liaison between project managers, clients, trades, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and fast issue resolution.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues such as delays, conflicts, or technical problems, while keeping the project on schedule.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the successful delivery of each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role within townhouse construction projects.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring precise execution and alignment with project scope.
- Experience in constructability reviews, with the ability to identify potential challenges early and offer clear guidance to trade partners.
- Demonstrated urgency and adaptability to effectively manage fast-paced project schedules.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide, motivate, and support on-site teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving work environment.
- Proficiency in using computers and construction project management software (e.g., Procore or similar).
- Possession of relevant certifications or trade licenses is considered an asset.
- Must hold a valid passport and be willing to travel as required.
Work Conditions
- Must be willing and able to travel approximately 90% of the time.
- Work will be conducted in active construction environments, which may involve high noise levels.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times while on-site.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing more than 35 lbs is required.
- Occasional overnight work may be necessary depending on project schedules and site requirements.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
