Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and site supervision, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.
- Oversee project scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6 and manage timelines effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control, ensuring adherence to blueprints and schematics.
- Manage contracts and maintain documentation related to project scope, changes, and budgets.
- Utilize construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and reporting.
- Implement OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Assist in construction estimating and budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction management software (ProCore, Bluebeam) and project scheduling tools (Primavera P6).
- Strong understanding of contracts, budgeting, and construction estimating practices.
- Extensive experience in construction site management with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Excellent supervisory experience with proven management skills in leading teams effectively.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus.
- Experience with HeavyBid software is desirable but not mandatory.
