Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring quality control, and maintaining project schedules while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews to ensure project milestones are met.
- Read and interpret locates, drawings and other technical documents to guide project execution.
- Complete Daily Production Reports and submit to office
- Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Assist in ensuring efficient use of materials and labor.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Shoot grades with laser level
- Calculate and order concrete
- Collaborate with project managers and office for materials for site
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential. Ideal 5 years experience in shoring and deep foundations
- Strong skills in drawing reading/understanding,quality control, supervising, is required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
- A solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
Must be already in Local 183 or willing to join.
