Responsibilities
- Perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment
- Assist Service Technicians in the repair of equipment
- Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required in set-up and delivery process
- May do pre-delivery inspection, assemble and service all types of equipment
- Maintenance, cleaning and tidying duties for all areas of the shop and grounds
- Ensure safety regulations are followed by self and others
- Participate in training to increase skills and knowledge
- Build and maintain constructive co-worker relationships
- Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
- Be mechanically minded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
- Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems an asset
- Farming background/experience an asset
- Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
- High School Diploma/equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
