The following position for a Sessional Lecturer is available in the Department of Philosophy for the Fall 2025 academic session. Qualifications:
- PhD in-hand, preferably in philosophy.
- Prior experience as a course instructor, preferably in Philosophy at U of T.
- Advanced prior knowledge of the subject-matter of the course and topic-related teaching experience.
- Related research and a record of research achievement is considered an asset to this position.
Duties and responsibilities: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours.
Appointment Dates: September 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
Note: All positions involve completion of any course grading not already finished by December, 2025.
