Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the Field Service team
- Providing proper documentation of all work, including service reports and expense reports
- Responds to customer technical inquiries with a high degree of troubleshooting skills
- Schedules and manages Service Technicians and Engineers for start-up, warranty and non-warranty service. Assure adherence to Davis-Standard terms and conditions
- Maintains the customer service database and records customer complaints for the purpose of tracking and reporting equipment failures
- Responsible for maintaining a relationship with all customers and within all business groups that is positive and sales oriented
- Determines warranty responsibilities for service and parts
- Works on administrative projects as directed.
- Other duties assigned
Skills/Requirements:
- Must possess a high degree of skill with PLC’s, MMI’s, computer hardware, computer communications, AC and DC drives and all extrusion electrical control systems
- Must have working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Knowledge of extrusion systems
- Ability to interact and deal effectively with customers using excellent interpersonal communication skills
