Job Summary
As a Serveur, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service in a restaurant setting. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests have a positive dining experience by delivering exceptional service.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked
- Take customer orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction with their meals
- Clear tables and maintain a clean dining area
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
Experience
- Prior experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with basic math for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
