Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order entry and cash handling.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while providing change to customers as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest experiences.
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing is advantageous.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and hospitality standards is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
