We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and creating memorable experiences. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils.
- Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Upsell drinks and food items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines in the preparation and serving of beverages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
