Job Overview
Hana Kitchen is a casual and welcoming restaurant specializing in Japanese and Korean cuisine. We opened in June and have been getting busy, so we are now looking to add part-time Servers to our team — especially those who are available to work on weekends (Friday to Sunday).
We are seeking reliable, friendly, and team-oriented individuals who can provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience as a server and an interest in Asian cuisine are strong assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the meal
- Answer questions about the menu and offer recommendations
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle cash and process card payments using POS systems
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and other front-of-house staff
- Support the team with side duties and opening/closing tasks
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience as a server or in a customer service role is an asset
- Interest or familiarity with Japanese and/or Korean cuisine
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
