Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each customer feels welcomed and valued. Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Adhere to food handling safety regulations to ensure guest health and satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling or guest services is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- A background in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus, as it aids in understanding menu items and preparation methods.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
