The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist at Benevity will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automated marketing campaigns and workflows to drive client acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role combines technical expertise with strategic marketing skills, working cross-functionally to ensure automation aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable results.
What you’ll do:
Develop and Implement Automation Strategies
- Support the design and execution of automated marketing campaigns, including email marketing, lead nurturing, and client retention initiatives.
- Ensure automation strategies are integrated with the overall marketing plan and client journey.
Manage Marketing Technology Stack
- Oversee the selection, configuration, and maintenance of marketing automation platforms
- Ensure seamless integration with CRM and other marketing technologies.
Database Governance and Enrichment
- Develop and maintain the CRM Database quality including strategies to minimize duplicates, enrich accounts and contacts in addition to archiving inactive records
- Manage Zoominfo, Ringlead, 6Sense and Linkedin Sales Navigator integration and enrichment processes
Create and Optimize Automated Workflows
- Build and maintain workflows for lead nurturing, client segmentation, and campaign management.
- Own the lead routing strategy and process in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing leaders
Lead Scoring and Nurturing
- Develop and implement lead scoring models to prioritize leads based on engagement and conversion likelihood.
- Set up targeted lead nurturing sequences to move prospects through the sales funnel.
Campaign Performance Analysis
- Analyze data from automated campaigns and provide actionable insights to improve ROI.
- Report on campaign performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and data teams to align automation efforts with business goals.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and technical teams to deliver effective campaigns.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure marketing data is accurate and adheres to privacy and data management policies.
- Support security and privacy audit processes as required.
Training and Support

- Provide training and support to team members on marketing automation best practices and platform usage.
What you’ll bring:
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign measurement and reporting.
- Project management skills, including roadmap development and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Understanding of digital marketing, consumer behavior, and content marketing principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is often preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing automation or digital marketing roles.
